Tara & Brian

What a wonderful wedding! Tara and Brian are such a sweet couple and their day was filled with lots of heartfelt moments with family and friends, and lots of terrific details! Tara works in graphic design and utilized her creative talents throughout the wedding details like the beautiful invitations. Nothing was overlooked for sure!

Tara and Brian met at the Newport Aquarium where they both worked, and became the inspiration for the wedding theme. We even did their engagement session there! Tara also started collecting shells after they started dating and after eight years of collecting, she had tons of them to use in the wedding decor. Tara and Brian took their tropical theme even further by tying in their honeymoon to Hawaii by having a Hawaiian dancer entertain guests during cocktail hour.

Their wedding was what most bride's dream of...beauty, love, friendship, sentiment and fun! Congrats and Aloha! You can see more of Tara and Brian's photos on Facebook. Be sure to become a fan of the studio and tag yourself in photos....including the whole guest list photo (let's see just how many tags we can get on one photo!).

Tara had the idea to be photographed with a clock every hour during the wedding day so that they could have a visual timeline of the whole day. So no matter what they were doing or where they were, we would stop on the hour for a clock picture. Here is what it looked like...
Thanks to some of Tara and Brian's great vendors who helped make the day so wonderful!

Kara & Nathan's Wedding at NCR Country Club!

We had been looking forward to Kara and Nathan's wedding since Jennifer did their engagement session in Denver last fall. Truly a sweet, bubbly couple that were going to be fun to photograph!

The ceremony was at the beautiful Holy Trinity church downtown Dayton, which photographs so beautifully. While downtown, we made us of the beautiful historic Courthouse Square for their photographs. We had a wonderful day with all their family and friends who traveled from all over the country to celebrate with them. The best man, James, and maid of honor, Kelly, gave some of the best toasts that I've ever heard, which were delivered straight from the heart. Definitely lots of love surround Kara and Nathan!

Kara and Nathan had to survive a long distant relationship and medical school all while trying to plan a wedding, which is why their honeymoon to Italy should be extra sweet! Ciao!

A special thanks to their other wedding vendors who helped to make their day so special!

Jamie and Rob's Cleveland E-Session!

Last weekend we had the perfect summer engagement session with Jamie and Rob. The weather was perfect and so was the company! We had a great time playing around with some of Cleveland's best landmarks. Jamie has one of those perfect effortless smiles that makes photographing her a breeze (Rob said not to encourage her, but I say go for it ;)

Their wedding is this July at the Schuster, one of our favorite spots for weddings, so we definitely can't wait to have fun with Jamie & Rob at such a great venue!

On Another Note: Surprisingly, we have a lot of clients with ties to Cleveland, whether they live there, went to school there or have family that does too. We have a satellite office about 50 minutes outside of Cleveland in Sandusky, which means if you are planning a wedding or family portrait in Cleveland there would be no travel fees for you! Of course, we do everything by appointment and are subject to availability, but we would love to talk to you about your Cleveland wedding. Cleveland Rocks after all!

Abby & Brian's Dayton Wedding!

We'd been looking forward to Abby & Brian's wedding since we did their engagement session last fall. They're a super sweet couple and Abby's bubbly personality is definitely contagious. Using the 'Sex in the City' movie as her inspiration, Abby added lots of 'Carrie' to her wedding day right down to her blue silk Manolo Blahnik's (a girl after my own heart!).

We had lots of fun photographing downtown Dayton, especially with their super fun bridal party. They had us laughing all day! Abby's oyster colored dress looked beautiful with the black and royal blue accents that her girls wore. Mark with The Flower Shoppe did a wonderful job on the flowers...I just loved the orchids in Abby's bouquet!

The ceremony was at one of our favorite churches, St. Mary's, which photographs so beautifully. We even got to do a little detour through the Oregon District with the wedding party after the ceremony on the way to the reception. It was truly such a great day with great people and places from start to finish! Congrats to Abby & Brian and enjoy Hilton Head!

Feel free to leave messages for Abby and Brian below in "Comments Rock." Also, become a Fan of Mark Garber Photography on Facebook and tag yourself in photos from the wedding!

Katie and Daryl

With all the rain showers we've had the last few weeks, we were keeping our fingers crossed that it would rain during their session. We lucked out and the rain held off long enough for us to cover just about every inch of Ault Park. Their wedding isn't until next June so you'll have some time to wait for their wedding photos :) Congrats to such a sweet couple!

Holly & Rockford

Holly and Rockford met thanks to their dogs Cody and Reinhard. After the dogs greeted each other at the park, their owners got to talking and the rest is history. Naturally, our two little matchmakers made it into the engagement photographs!

Holly and Rockford's wedding is downtown Indianapolis this August and we can't wait for all the fun! Congrats!

Kristen & Doug's Cincinnati Wedding

The weathermen were calling for severe thunderstorms with up to four inches of rain on Saturday. Needless to say, Krissy and Doug were worried that we wouldn't be able to do the outdoor photographs that they wanted. Luck was on our side and even though it rained all morning, the rain literally stopped right before we were to start photographs!

Krissy and Doug are such a sweet happy couple, and I think it was Krissy's bubbly personality that chased the rain away. Krissy and Doug's ceremony was at one of Cincinnati's prettiest churches, Hyde Park United Methodist, so we we're more than happy to do photographs there. It was a wonderful day with lots of friends and family, who kept us laughing all day!

Thanks for sharing your day with us and enjoy Antigua...so jealous! Feel free to leave well wish for the bride and groom below this post in "Comments Rock." Become a Fan of Mark Garber Photography on Facebook and be sure to Tag your photos.

Krissy and Doug had some great wedding vendors. A special 'Thanks' to them too!
