Out of the Office...

We have the last of our winter travel these next two weeks so we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. We will be judging and speaking at the Professional Photographers of Massachusetts' State (PPAM) Convention Feb.26-March 2nd. We are then home for one day before leaving for Jennifer's program at WPPI's Business Institute. We will be in Nevada from March 3-March 8th. We will be back to normal studio hours beginning March 9th.

We will try to keep on top of phone calls and emails, but it is hard with our hectic time commitments at conventions (We usually start at 6am and go to midnight...ouch!).

Lillian's Bridal

As some of you may know, we have a wedding of our own to plan in the family. I thought it would be fun to periodically give you updates as we navigate our way through planning a destination wedding and send off party here in Dayton.

I got to go bridal dress shopping with the bride, Kristen, and had such a marvelous time at Lillian's Bridal in Centerville. We've always loved Lillian's for their beautiful decor, unique selection and personal service. I have sent a lot of bride's to Lillian's and knew it would be the first place we would go too.

Kristen found her dress after trying on just a handful of them, and it had all of us in tears. She went with a Winnie Couture that is a 'contemporary-classic.' I promised the bride I wouldn't post her actual dress until after the wedding so that the groom wouldn't see it...sorry for the suspense...although you can see it's reflection in the mirror.

A special 'Thank You' to Lillian's owner, Kriston, for making the experience so lovely! It was truly a perfect day!

Guestbooks!

It's that time of year where we start designing a lot of Sign-in-Albums for all of our spring brides! The Sign-in-Album, or Guestbook, makes for a fun way to personalize what would ordinarily be a boring been-there-done-that wedding tradition.

The books themselves are hardcover coffee table books designed to lay completely flat so they are easy to sign. Our Sign-in-Albums are all personally designed by Jennifer. She can also use those same design aesthetics to make save-the-date cards, invitations, labels, thank you cards and more for a complete look.

It always amazes us at the thoughtfulness and kindness of our clients! We are, of course, thrilled when we get 'thank you' notes and emails from clients mostly because it lets us know that we are doing what we should be doing, which is taking care of you! We are very blessed to have so many amazing people share their lives with us, and your words of kindness and praise are very humbling. {{Group Hug!}}

We are honored to have received The WeddingWire Bride's Choice Awards ™. Snow Day!

Just an FYI! With all the snow (9 inches and counting) we will out of the studio Tuesday, Feb. 9th, and if the weatherman are right about another 6 inches, we will also be out on Wed. the 10th.
