Emily & Ryan at Moraine Country Club

Emily and Ryan had the perfect June wedding!  To be surrounded by great weather, friends, family and the love of your life...it just doesn't get better than that!  Emily and Ryan live on the east coast and planned from afar, but everything came together perfectly for them, including the many friends and family members who flew in from all over the country to celebrate with them.

Emily and Ryan went with a classic royal blue and white for their colors.  Blue hydrangea are some of her favorite flowers, which just had to be in her bouquets.  The Flower Shoppe did a beautiful job adding purples and pinks to the bouquets and centerpieces for a cool summer color palette.  Royal blue is one of those great universal colors that looks great on everyone...certainly a great pick for bridesmaid dresses!

To say that Emily has a great smile, would be an understatement.  As we watched her throughout the day, her radiant smile beamed from ear to ear.  Seeing how she and Ryan interact with each other and their loved ones, you can see the close ties that build with everyone they meet.  We just love wedding days that are filled with joy, love and laughter and Emily and Ryan's day was filled from start to finish!

The newlyweds are enjoying a honeymoon in Hawaii, but while they're honeymooning you can leave 'well wishes' for them in the comments section below.  You can also see and tag more images on the studio's Facebook page.  Congrats!

Emily & Jesse at Shaker Run Country Club

One of the best perks of our job is working with awesome families on some of the best days of their lives.  Emily and Jesse's wedding beautiful wedding at Shaker Run Country Club certainly was a perk.  A few years ago we had photographed Emily's twin sister's wedding, and thoroughly enjoyed working with their wonderful family.  Needless to say, we were thrilled to photograph Emily and Jesse's special day.

We've worked at Shaker Run before, but always at the Clubhouse and not the Lake Pavilion.  For a summer wedding, the Pavilion couldn't have been a more perfect spot.  Guests got to enjoy nearly panoramic views of the lake and golf course all day.  Not to mention, we had plenty of beautiful photo spots.

Emily's color palette of pale pink and grey was soft and beautiful.  The roses and peonies (Jennifer's favorite) make for some of the most fragrant bouquets you can make.  Not only gorgeous to look at, the fragrance is just heavenly.  Jeff Martin florist did a great job as always.

We had a wonderful day working with Emily's family again, as well as Jesse's lovely family.  Feel free to leave messages for the newlyweds in the comments section below.  You can view and tag more images on the studio's Facebook page.  Best Wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

Welcome Baby Henry!

We just love it when our wedding clients start having babies...nothing is better than watching families grow!  This little piece of heaven is Henry and we are so happy to meet him :-)

Mom put a lot of effort into creating his first official photo session.  She incorporated his handmade baby blanket, the sign from his baby shower, items from his nursery, and the clock shows his birth time. Not to forget, we just love his super cute little crocheted hat and diaper cover from Etsy.  If you haven't shopped on Etsy yet, beware...it can be addicting.

Welcome to this world baby Henry!  We are glad you are here!

Nicole and Michael at Savannah Center

Nicole and Michael's wedding day couldn't be described as anything less than perfect.  Having an outdoor ceremony always keeps you holding your breath that the weather will be in your favor.  The weather had us checking the radar several times that day, but they lucked out and avoided the rain showers.  In fact the cloud cover from the leftover storms gave us perfect lighting for photographing outdoors.

Opting for bright cheerful colors, Nicole's choice of bright pink and orange was eye catching against the beautiful scenery at The Savannah Center.  We loved the pairing of the tan suits with the girls cocktail length dresses adding to relaxed feel of an outdoor wedding.  The bouquets filled with hot pink and orange lilies added a touch of the tropics to their day.

Aside from the fun colors and lucky weather, Nicole and Michael are clearly surrounded by a lot of love and friendship.  We laughed our way through their entire day, especially watching the antics of the groomsmen.  Without trying to sound sappy, their wedding was one of those magically days were the very atmosphere around them was filled with joy and love...something truly special.

Thank you for sharing such a fun day with us and we wish you all the best as you begin the next chapter in your story.  We were honored to be part of it :-)  Feel free to leave well-wishes for the happy couple below in comments.  You can also see and tag more images on the studio's Facebook page.  Congrats!
