Julie & Christian at The French House

video

What a wonderful day we had with Julie and Christian! The French House is such a romantic setting for an outdoor wedding. We had a lot of fun photographing them all around the beautiful historic grounds at The French House.

The wedding party added to the fun by keeping us laughing all day. Friends and family came from all over the US and as far away as Argentina for the wedding. Julie & Christian are lucky to have such a wonderful network of friends and family surrounding them.

With the very hot temperatures we weren't sure how full the dance floor would get, but we were happily proven wrong. The dance floor was packed and everyone was working their best moves. We laughed our way through the reception with all the craziness! I included a few of the highlights in a montage above...don't seeing a flying bride everyday!

Such a fun day with a great groups of people! Feel free to leave well wishes for Julie and Christian below in 'Comments' or on the Studio's Fan Page on Facebook. Congrats to such a sweet couple! Enjoy the Caribbean!

We got to work with some of our favorite vendors today! Check them out!

Connie & Matt's Country Wedding

Connie and Matt are a lovely couple who were bringing two families together with their wedding. What better place to celebrate the making of a new family than to host the wedding on the family farm! It was a beautiful setting with rolling hills and a large farm pond where the ceremony was held.

It was a very touching ceremony with the majority of the wedding party being their children. After the ceremony we headed off to the barn area for photos where their pet goat 'Spot' decided to tag along with us. He was very curious about all the commotion and tried on several occasions to nibble the flowers in the bridesmaids bouquets.

It was an intimate and sweet wedding shared with the best of friends and family. Certainly another great memory to add to the family history books!

Coming to a City Near You...

Here is an updated list of travel for us. If you are in one of these cities and would like a session, please feel free to call. Session times are limited due to travel commitments; however, we can usually fit in one or two sessions. I'm sure that we will be adding more Cleveland dates for the fall as well.

We have a wedding in Sarasota the last weekend in March of 2011 and will be staying additional dates for beach sessions. 2011 will also have us in Arizona, Indiana, Michigan, South Carolina and Cabo, Mexico to name a few. We'll have more detailed information about 2011 travel posted later in the year. Hope to see you!

Emily & Chris's Miami Merger!

video

Last Saturday we got to work around the University of Miami's beautiful campus with Emily & Chris. The two met on campus, while earning their degrees in music. Chris had proposed to Emily under the 'Kissing Arch' at Upham Hall, and it made for a perfect spot for their first meeting on the wedding day.
Their ceremony was held in the historic Kumler Chapel on campus, which is such a beautiful chapel. Most churches are so dark, but Kumler has beautiful tall windows that lets in such beautiful light. We don't normally get excited to work in a sanctuary, but Kumler's is a delight to photograph. Chris comes from a very musically inclined family and both his brother's provided the beautiful music for the ceremony. Such a nice touch!

Thank you for sharing such a great day with us! We know you're having a blast on your honeymoon to Paris and Venice (soooo wanted to tag along)! Congrats!

Friends and family can leave messages for Emily & Chris below under 'Comments Rock.' Images will also be on Facebook and be sure to look and tag yourself in photos.

Chrissy & Stephen's E-Session

We had a lovely, but hot, time with Chrissy & Stephen earlier this week photographing their engagement photos around Dayton. Chrissy's pretty blue-green eyes photographed so beautifully! Their wedding is at the Manor House this fall just in time for rich fall colors...and cooler weather! Can't wait for the wedding! Congrats!

Jamie and Robert at The Schuster Center!

We had such a lovely time last Saturday with Jamie and Rob! They are such a sweet couple and you can just tell that they are a perfect match. We had a lot of fun photographing their family and wedding party downtown in Dayton. The wedding party had us giggling all day!

Jamie and Rob planned a beautiful event at one of our favorite places, The Schuster Center. I just loved their first dance. They were so cute making googly eyes at each other the whole time. Rob's brother, who was also the bestman, was deployed to Iraq and wasn't able to attend the wedding. He did manage to record his toast, which had everyone teary-eyed and laughing all at the same time. Jamie and Rob are blessed to have such a wonderful group of family and friends to celebrate with!

We wish Jamie and Rob all the best! Enjoy your time in Aruba...wish we were there too! Feel free to leave Jamie and Rob messages below under 'Comments Rock.' You can also become a Fan of the studio on Facebook and tag yourself in photos. Enjoy!
