Erin & Sean at The Schuster Center

Erin and Sean are such a lovely couple!  We had an amazing time photographing them and their fun wedding party and family!  We had photographed Erin's sister's wedding a few years ago and we just love working again with families that we adore!

Their elegant wedding featured some of our classic wedding favorites such as tuxes with hand-tied bow ties, black and white color palette, orchids (Jennifer's favorite) and just the right amount of sparkle.  We don't see many sequins bridesmaid dresses, but it added the perfect amount of 'pop' to a black dress.  The hot pink orchids contrasted beautifully with their black and white attire.

Having such a closely knit group of friends and family, they had a lot of help making their dream day come true.  Erin's Dad and friends of the family helped make the mantle and other design elements for the ceremony, assemble programs and menus and all sorts of wedding day details.  It's very clear that Erin and Sean are surrounded by many people who care very deeply for them!

Erin and Sean danced the night away and are now recouping on their honeymoon to South Africa.  Sounds exotic doesn't it!  Can't wait to see photos and hear all about it when they return.  Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

Liz & Ryan's Shabby Chic Wedding

Wow!  What can we say about Liz and Ryan's super cute shabby chic wedding!?  Liz and Ryan's wedding is the perfect example of personalizing a wedding to be anything that you dream it to be!  We just love that they broke away from the traditional wedding mold and truly made an event that their guests won't soon forget!

Can you believe that almost everything from their wedding was either a garage sale find, handmade or a family heirloom?  The entire reception from the centerpieces, china, silverware, linens and even the chairs were all garage sale treasures.  All the centerpieces, table signs, invitations, bouquets and more were all handcrafted.  Their wedding was so rich in details that we could honestly post dozens and dozens of photos of just the decor alone!

Liz wore her mother's wedding gown and veil.  She then accented it with a lace headband that she made.  The wedding party was told to wear whatever they wished making for a colorful, fun and unique look.  Nothing matched and yet went together perfectly, proving that you don't have to have just one or two wedding colors.

Their wedding was held at the home Ryan grew up at making for added memories for the whole family.  The ceremony was held under a big beautiful tree adorned with working chandeliers and soft fabric that swayed in the breeze.  Their isle runner was an old persian rug that ran in between reclaimed church pews.  The reception was beautiful under the night sky even if the rain came.  Guests happily grabbed umbrellas and kept the evenings festivities going.

Congrats to Liz, Ryan and their families who helped make their special day so memorable!  We know a lot of work went into planning an event like this and all your hard work certainly paid off!  This was a wedding that won't soon be forgotten by us or your guests!  Congrats!

And as always, you can view and tag more images from this event on the studio's Facebook page.

Jessica & Walter at Cox Arboretum

Jessica and Walter lucked out and had the perfect outdoor September wedding...beautiful sunny sky and the  perfect fall temperature.  Jessica and Walter are a sweet, fun-loving couple and you can just feel the love they have for each other when you see them interact together.  I just love the top image, which is from their 'First Glimpse.'  You can just see them savoring the moment!

We had fun photographing Jessica, Walter and their wedding party in all of our favorite spots at the park.  Jessica had prepared for some 'nature walking' by wearing practical shoes for the photographs before switching over to something prettier for the ceremony and reception.  Many brides forget this and then struggle with their heels sinking in the grass all day so if you're a future bride planning your day be sure to make a mental note!

Their outdoor ceremony was so pretty with the setting sun wrapping everyone in golden light.  The rose covered arbor made for a gorgeous backdrop.  Guests showered the new Mr. and Mrs. with rose petals as they recessed up the isle making for a fun photo opp!  Congrats to the newlyweds!
