Jennifer & Adrian!

All I can say is what an awesome bride Jennifer was! She wanted outdoor photos so she and all the wedding party braved the cold (34 degrees!) for outdoor photographs. No one even complained. Of course, we would go outside, photograph super quick, and go back in to warm up and then repeat.

We had a great time with Jennifer & Adrian and their laughter and smiles were contagious. They make a perfect couple...you can always tell! They had friends and family from all over the country and I loved the individually packed rum cakes they flew in from New Orleans. Adrian's family is from New Orleans so it was a great personal touch.

We know they are staying warm in the sands of Jamaica having their Thanksgiving feast on the beach! We'll have your slide show posted soon!

Laura & Brian

Boy does time fly! We first met Laura a few years ago when we did her senior pictures. A lot has changed since then...including the wonderful addition of Brian.

Laura and Brian are a fun sweet couple and I had a wonderful time hanging out with them. They still are working on the details of the wedding, but they're thinking Hawaii. (Which of course, would be my vote too :) Jennifer & I got married on the beach at sunset and nothing could be more fun or romantic.)

We wish them all the best and congrats on the engagement!

Holiday Ideas!

The holidays are the perfect time to do a little 'double-dipping.' Instead of sending holiday cards and save-the-date cards, do both at the same time. It also works after the wedding for thank you cards/holiday cards!

We still have time to order save-the-date or thank you cards. Because we custom design each card, your card will be one of a kind. Molly and Greg are a cute bubbly couple that are planning on bright sherbet colors for the wedding so we made sure their card was a perfect fit for them.

Don't forget that photographs make unique personal gifts...expecially for those people who have it all!

In the Press

Mark had some of his photographs used as stock images in this month's Professional Photographer Magazine. We are always thrilled to be published in such a great publication.
You can also find us this month in Rangefinder Magazine promoting our platform program at this year's WPPI's Convention in Las Vegas. Aside from our program, you will also be able to see us at Fuji, Madison Photoworks and Zookbinder's booths. Log onto WPPI's web site for more information. Be sure to book hotel rooms early because they sell out QUICK!

The Whole Enchilada!

We featured Molly and Scott's engagement session on the blog earlier this year, but we now have all their press printed products in to showoff. Molly's colors are beige and blue so we designed their 5x5 tri-fold invitations, r.s.v.p. cards and sign-in-album around their color scheme. We also designed all three pieces to match to really emphasize their theme.
Instead of trying to piece together a design concept from lots of different companies all over town or on the web, know that we have the ability to do all of that for you. It makes life a lot easier!
We were already booked for Molly and Scott's wedding, but we were still happy to help them with this part of their wedding. We welcome all wedding couples! Happy Planning!

Happy Baby Nolan!

We did Jennifer and Sean wedding in fall of 2006 and now have the pleasure of meeting baby Nolan! Nolan couldn't be more adorable and literally giggled his way through his first session.

There is a lot of responsibility and trust placed in us when we photograph a couple's wedding and other great milestones in their lives. We get a little sentimental watching our client's lives evolve and are always thankful to be included.
PS. We have so many 'bridal babies' that we are thinking of running a contest to see who can match all the babies to the correct parents. Whayda think?

Denise & Jon

Funny how small the world is sometimes. Denise's mom was Jennifer's biology teacher in high school. We crossed paths again last summer at Jennifer's high school guidance counselor's daughter's wedding...say that three times fast!

We did the session at the family home, which is nestled in a beautifully lush area. It was fun working with Denise and Jon and we can't wait for the wedding!

Katie & Scott....plus Rory!

We met Katie this year at her sister's wedding (Blog Post August: Megan & Scott) when she was a bridesmaid. Ironically enough Katie has the same wedding date because that was the only time the museum had open...what luck!
Katie and Scott make a cute couple although puppy Rory steals a little of the spotlight. What a sweet little face! Congrats on the wedding...and the new addition!

Brittany & Josh

What an amazing day! The weather was phenomenal for the first of November! We couldn't have lucked out any better for photographs. We absolutely fell in love with both families and it was very obvious what a close loving bunch they are.
The room at DCC was gorgeous and was a surprise to Brittany and Josh. Brenda did a wine inspired theme including guests' place settings printed on the wine labels in a beautiful display. We have seen a couple variations on a wine theme, but that was a first and was very creative.

The night was also highlighted by a moving song played for the father daughter dance and a song written and played by Brittany's brother. I don't think there was a dry eye in the place. Brittany and Josh are a wonderful couple and we wish them all the best. Enjoy the Mayan Riviera!

A special thank you to:
Carol at Dayton Country Club
