We did a side trip to St. Petersburg while in Tampa to the Salvador Dali Museum, which is one of my all time favorite museums and artists. The collection is quite large and has some of my favorite pieces. Aside from the amazing imagery, we love the titles..."Eggs on a plate without the plate" is about him remembering his own birth. Gotta love that kind of creative thinking...
The museum is near the St. Petersburg yacht club and we found an awesome restaurant right at the base of the pier. If you are ever in the neighborhood be sure to stop in. The view and the food was divine!
