The trip to Carlsbad with XXV was awesome in so many ways! Working with the families of Make-A-Wish was phenomenal. Because of medical expenses, many of the families had never had a formal family portrait done.
We turned the hotel into a lab, complete with printing and stretching canvas portraits. On the last day of our stay we delivered a 16x20 canvas to each of the families. Each family's story was inspiring and we were so honored to be a small part of their story.
We should all count our blessings and remember the line from one of my favorite movies, Field of Dreams, "You fail to realize the most significant moments in your life as they are happening."
