Amby & Dustin's New Year's Eve Wedding

Amby and Dustin ended our 2011 wedding season with a bang! They lucked out and had a very mild winter day allowing us to photograph outside the scenic Manor House. Their theme of mixing various shades of purple with silver and black tied in perfectly with a New Year's party vibe.

Amby and Dustin had a beautiful candlelit ceremony in the atrium of the Manor House. The colorful cobalt evening sky contrasted beautifully with the warm candle light. We had fun photographing in the atrium playing with the gorgeous lighting (photographer's get excited about that kind of stuff). Amby's Dad also performed the ceremony adding a very special personal touch.

Friends and family got to dance the night away and ring in the new year with the newlyweds making for a New Year's Ever party that will be hard to top! Feel free to leave well wishes for the newlyweds below in 'Comments' or you can view and tag more images on the studio's Facebook page. Congrats!

Amby & Dustin's E-Session!

Even though we photographed their engagement session towards the end of the fall season, Amby & Dustin still lucked into some beautiful autumn colors. They are planning a New Year's Eve wedding, which will be the perfect way to end the year. Plus, they will always get to party on their anniversary!

E-Session

Ciera and Brian wanted to tie their engagement session into their wedding theme by adding a soft vintage feel to it. We added an effect to the photos in Photoshop giving them the appearance of old film. We also then designed their save-the-date cards to resemble an old postcard. We're looking forward to the wedding this June!

Art & Missy's E-Session!

We photographed Art and Missy's engagement session at the University of Dayton, which is where they both attended college. The campus has many scenic spots to photograph and is a special spot for many Daytonians. We are looking forward to their wedding this March. Congrats!

Kate and Peter's E-Session!

Another beautiful engagement session from this past fall! The lovely Kate and Peter (and puppy too!) are getting married this fall at one of our favorite venues...Country Club of the North. I just hope the fall colors are as vibrant on their wedding day! Congrats!

Sarah & Trent's E-Session

This fall was crazy busy for us between weddings, portraits and engagement sessions! However, we are starting to get caught up and wanted to post some of our favorite images.

We had a great time photographing Sarah and Trent. The fall colors were at their peak during their session. Would you believe these were taken at a cemetery? I know...weird spot for an engagement session, but as you can see it photographs beautifully! Congrats!

Grace & Nick's Winter Wedding

Last weekend we had the honor of spending the day with Grace and Nick! It was the perfect December wedding day too...cold, but not too cold and no wind. Grace, Nick and their wedding party braved the elements for their wedding photos, but you would never tell they were freezing by looking at the images :)

We met the lovely Grace when she was the Maid of Honor at a wedding a couple of years ago. When she called to book us for her wedding, we were thrilled to work with her again. This time around she was the bride and her dear friend Kaitlin was the Maid of Honor! We just loved their jewel toned color palette of deep rich purples and peridot. The peacock feathers were a fun touch too. I think it all worked perfectly with Grace's beautiful auburn hair. Despite the chilly temperatures, we had a great time photographing Grace and Nick around downtown and the WSU campus.

Grace and Nick also did something kinda fun and different by having a computer with a web cam at the reception and guests could take their own photos and load them directly on to Grace and Nick's Facebook page for their wedding.
