We managed to squeeze in Logan and Jonathan's engagement session the week before their wedding. Since they live out of state, they could only be photographed when they visited home. We're so glad that they made the long drive from Chillicothe. They're such a cute couple and we had a blast photographing them!

You would never know it from looking at the pictures, but Molly had H1N1 while we were photographing their engagement session. Determined to get their save-the-date/holiday cards done, Molly braved through the session just fine. That wedding 'to do' list waits for no one!

Christine and Mark made it home for the Thanksgiving holiday and we were able to squeeze in their engagement session amongst all the holiday activities. They braved the very cold temperatures that Friday, and even had gone to cut down their Christmas tree earlier...meaning they had spent a lot of time out in the cold that day.

This is a busy time of year for everyone, but we wanted to remind our brides and brides-to-be that this is a perfect time of year to double-dip on mailings. For our 2009 brides, you can send out Thank You/Holiday cards and our 2010 brides can send out Save-the-Date/Holiday cards. 2009 WEVA wedding demo gold winner from imacron on Vimeo.
We are super excited to be working with Imacron USA on a video/photography project. We're collaborating on a five minute slide show that they will put 250-300 hours of labor into! Can you believe it for five minutes of product...definitely worth it when you see their work!
Imacron is a Philippines based company, but has a location in the US too. Be sure to see their award winning wedding demo as well as their 3D photo montages. They have won numerous top honors from WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association). WEVA does have a Brides Guide to help brides learn more about video like different styles, questions to ask and what to look for in a professional video...definitely worth looking into. Dayton and Cincinnati have many talented videographers to choose from, but stylistically there are huge differences.
Since so many brides are looking for photojournalism or a more 'natural' feel to their image, it would make sense that you would look for that in a video as well. A more cinematic feel to your wedding video will keep you watching it for years. California based cinematographers, 50 Foot Films have an amazing style. While they are an investment ($12,500 plus travel), you can get an idea of what true wedding cinematography can be.

As you can see, Abby is a very shy quiet girl that was hard to break out of her shell....aykm!?!? I have a theory that red shoes make people feel sassy, and Abby proved my theory once again. We had a great time at The Greene photographing including getting in some super bright fall colors...thanks Cheesecake Factory.
