Mazel Tov to Grant!
We had so much fun with the Grant and the Harlan family for his Bar Mitzvah on Saturday. The party was at the Taj Ma Garaj, which was perfect for a Bar Mitzvah party with all the awesome Porsches and way cool game room.
We had never been to the Taj Ma Garaj before and let me tell you it is every man's dream come true! There has to be at least two dozen rare Porsches from vintage to new, including the Porsche Carrera at $550k! The decor was wonderful, the food from Berstein's was great and the music and dancers from Buckeye Sounds kept the dance floor full...even with the pull of the game room calling!
It was an awesome time and we wish Grant all the best!

Amber and Chad...Grady too!
Grady smiling for his photo shoot :)
Boy did we luck out with the weather! Between the rain clouds on Thursday and Friday and then the hurricane level winds on Sunday, Saturdays humidity was a blessing!
We had the amazing backdrop of the Aaron Wright House, which was built in 1857, and the beautifully draped tent really made for an elegantly understated 'country-chic' theme. (I may have just coined a new phrase there...who knows.)

Amber's dress was a beautiful linen with vintage ribbons that fit the surroundings perfectly. Cady at the Flowerman did an amazing job with her bouquet, which had feathers and vintage charms for a very unique look. Grady, their very well-behaved dog, was the ring bearer and official greater for the wedding. He performed his duties perfectly too!
I hope I'm not giving away all of Amber's secrets, but the awesome bridesmaid dresses were from Forever 21 and were only $30...can't beat that! It truly was a beautiful day and evening laced with very personal and beautiful touches. Happy Honeymooning!

My Jenny
Happy Birthday to my Jenny (she is my Jenny just like Forest Gump had his Jenny). This is one of my favorite photos of her taken when we were in Italy. I had gone off to do some sight seeing while she stayed at this great little outdoor cafe. When I was returning from my stroll, my eyes were instantly drawn to her even among the sea of faces.
Jenny, you are my world. I thank you for showing me the meaning of true love, and always reminding me that together we are unstoppable.
Happy birthday,
Mark & Charlie

We Love Jenna Claire Handbags!
Jenna Claire Handbag Studio is moving to The Greene! They are set to open with the new Von Maur store opening this Saturday. You can find her shop across from the Von Maur. In case you haven't stopped into Jenna Claire yet, what makes them so unique is that you can design your own handbags with a combination of styles and fabrics.
Jenna Claire also does purse parties and makes for a great 'girl's day out.' The totes or make-up bags would be great bridesmaid's gifts in your wedding colors. Charlie and I love our Jenna Claire diaper bag so it would make a great baby shower gift as well. Their gift certificates are perfect gifts for those who are hard to buy for! I can't even begin to tell you how many I've given.
Congrats on the new expansion Daina! We love what you do!

Elizabeth and John!
What a great time we had! The weather finally cooperated, the wedding party was fun, families were great, the Schuster was beautiful, and Elizabeth and John were amazing! We had a lot of fun strolling the streets of Dayton and using the Schuster as a backdrop for photos.
A lot of meaningful touches throughout the day made their day even more memorable. Elizabeth and John had their private meeting on the stage of the theatre, which couldn't be more gorgeous or romantic. They put a lot of thought into their ceremony music and had great readings, including one I had never heard before from The Velveteen Rabbit that was beautiful. A friend sang their first dance song, which was also very moving.
They had a very elegant navy color palette infused with rich jewel tones that was really eye catching. And of course, the atmosphere and service at the Schuster was awesome as always. Elizabeth, the event coordinator, took great care of everyone... like always!
Elizabeth and John also had THE BEST (let me repeat) THE BEST wedding band that we have ever heard! Elizabeth and John live in Chicago and I thought for sure that they brought the band down with them, but it turns out that they are right out of West Chester! Go figure! They had fourteen members and played everything from Madonna, B-52's, Dee Lite, Billy Idol and more! Check out "Off the Hook" for yourselves...Party On!

Alexis and Stephen!
Wow! Pretty much sums up Alexis and Stephen's wedding. The very beautiful and quaint country wedding was held on Alexis' parents 400 acre country estate in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Friends and family came from far and wide to make their day complete and to participate in one of the most moving wedding ceremonies that we have seen in awhile.
Country charm was in all the details right down to the centerpiece's that her mom and dad made. We also got to work with a 'dream team' of vendors who also made the day memorable and fun! We wish Alexis and Stephen all the best!
Thank you to...
